/ Our Mentors Gathered for the First Time in Luxembourg
In Luxembourg, Stand Speak Rise Up! brought together, for the first time, a group of mentors and beneficiaries for a lunch at the Grand Café.
It was a meaningful moment of exchange and connection, dedicated to reflecting on a form of commitment that often remains unseen, yet is essential: mentoring in support of survivors of sexual violence.
A Lunch to Celebrate the Power of Mentorship
Around the table, mentors and beneficiaries shared, in an atmosphere of trust, what mentorship has taught them and the tangible impact it has on the lives of the women supported by the association, both in Luxembourg and around the world.
The Essential Role of Mentors in Supporting Survivors
Mentors play a vital role in the journey of survivors. They provide guidance, a listening ear, and a pathway toward empowerment and recovery, supporting each woman in the areas she wishes to strengthen.
True pillars of support, they generously give their time and energy so that every survivor can move forward, develop new skills, and rebuild her life. This is the very essence of Stand Speak Rise Up!’s mentorship programme, which is now active in several countries, from Cuba to Ukraine and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
